Hunt Is On For Those Behind Dublin's Latest Murder
Gardai are hunting for the person that pulled the trigger in Dublin's latest murder. Darragh Nugent, a dad-of-three, was shot dead on Wheatfield Drive in Neilstown last night.
Gardaí believe the 35-year-old's attackers had been waiting in the area since about 9pm last night, and then struck at twenty to ten.
It's understood Mr Nugent was shot as many as 5 times his body was removed from the scene this morning after a technical exam. He was a father of three and was known to gardaí for previous offences.
Officers are now looking to trace the getaway car, which is understood to be an old saloon, possibly a BMW.
Any witnesses to the shooting are asked to contact Gardaí.
