Andy Lee World Title Fight Moved From Thomond Park To Manchester
Co-promoter Frank Warren has confirmed reports that Andy Lee's first WBO World Middleweight title defence will now take place in Manchester.
The Irish world champ was due to fight Billy Joe Saunders in Thomond Park on September 19th but having picked up a virus, has been forced to postpone the bout.
The reports initially emerged in the Irish Sun and Warren confirmed the bad news for Irish fight fans, that the fight is being moved to the Manchester Arena.
Warren also revealed that the fight will be staged a month after the original date
