Annalise Murphy Is Home With Her Silver Medal
One of Ireland's Olympic heros, Annalise Murphy, is back on home soil.
The Rathfarnham woman's flight touched down at Dublin airport today.
The silver medallist sailor walked out to cheers after she disembarked.
Annalise says the reality of bringing home an Olympic medal hasn't sunk in just yet:
There to greet her at the airport was her gran Betty Murphy, who like us is very proud of her achievement.
A public homecoming will take place at the People's Park in Dun Laoghaire on Thursday evening, close to the sailing club where Annalise trained for the Rio Games.
