Investigations Underway Following Gas Blast
Investigations have been launched into a gas explosion in Dublin
Two men were injured when a mains caught fire yesterday evening.
The incident happenend on the heavily populated Knocklyon road.
Emergency services remained at the scene for several hours as fire officers battled to bring the blaze under control.
The blast site is just a few meters from a petrol station and is located at the entrance to a brand new housing development.
It's understood two men received burns when the explosion happened.
Local residents were evacuated for over six hours last night, until their return was deemed safe.
