Woman Due In Court Over Killing Of Gareth Hutch
A woman is due in court this morning charged in connection with the investigation into Gareth Hutchs' murder.
The 35 year old was gunned down in the north inner city this day last week.
Gareth became the seventh victim of the Hutch/Kinahan feud when he was shot dead outside his flat complex on North Cumberland Street last Tuesday.
The dad of one had been worried his life was in danger and was trying to change accommodation.
As part of the investigation into his murder, gardai arrested three people for questioning.
This morning a woman in her 40s is due in court at half ten charged in connection with the investigation.
The two others remain in garda custody.
Meanwhile the Justice Minister is to ask for extra resources for the Gardaí to crack down on organised crime gangs.
Frances Fitzgerald is expected to outline that substantial extra resources are needed so Gardaí can work overtime.
She is expected to say that there's a need for 'saturation policing', which will include more Gardai tackling crime in the north inner city.
The Minister wants to create a 'mini' Criminal Assets Bureau to target assets of a lower value, possibly as low as 1 thousand euro.
It's understood the Taoiseach has already said that whatever resources are needed will be made available.
