What's On In Dublin This May Bank Holiday Weekend
The first bank holiday weekend of summer 2016 is almost here. We've put together a handy guide of the best events happening in Dublin over the next few days.
90s Singalong Party, Grafton Lounge - Friday, 8pm
Do you know your come-on-barbie-lets-go-parties from your zig-a-zig-ahs?
Well if you want to Turn Back Time, and roar some Aqua, Steps or B*Witched into a hairbrush - the Grafton Lounge is the place for you tomorrow night.
Green Shoes Events is organising what it calls "the ultimate 90's Singalong Party", taking place on Bank Holiday Friday, April 29th.
The event promises to be a "full-on 1990s singalong party", with all the greatest cheesy pop hits, power ballads and rock classics from the decade that brought us All Saints and Oasis.
The night will feature lots of 90s throwback surprises as well as prizes for the best dressed 'spice girls' and 'beastie boys'.

Gumball 3000 Rally, Merrion Square - Saturday & Sunday
The ultimate road trip kicks off from Merrion Square - April 30thand May 1st. The 2016 route is Dublin to Bucharest.
On Saturday April 30th at 12pm at Merrion Square, all 100 Gumball cars will start arriving on the grid in preparation for their 3000 mile journey. Fans will be able to get up close and see an array of the world's most expensive, impressive and rare automobiles.
On Sunday May 1st, fans will be able to witness the beginning of the 2016 Gumball 3000 from the start line as all the Gumball cars start their engines and are waved off under the start flag as they begin their first leg of the rally to Edinburgh via Belfast.
Look out for the 98FM Thunderbus playing Dublin’s Best Music Mix from the event, and catch the Superstars and Supercars of Gumball 3000.
Founder Maximillion Cooper along with his wife, ther rapper Eve, David Hasselhoff, Afrojack and David Coulthard are among the celebrities confirmed to take part in this year's event.
They will all be partying in Lillies Bordello on Saturday night to launch Gumball 3000.
May Day, May Day! Disco Brunch, Drury Buildings - Sunday
Following the success of the Paddy's Day Disco Brunch, May Day, May Day! Disco brunch is back for more magic this Bank Holiday Sunday, May 1st at Drury Buildings.
Tickets for the brunch, which kicks off at 2pm until 10pm, are sold out but you can pay €5 at the door after 5pm for a boogie.
There will be prizes for the best aeronautically dressed boy or gal. Disco Brunch say they are looking for fight pilots, airhostess, care bear and anything else you'll find in the clouds!
Italia '90 Day 2016, The Back Page, Phibsboro - Sunday
An Irish illustrator and graffiti artist teamed up with The Back Page pub in Phibsborough and web site Póg mo Goal this week to pay tribute to broadcasting legend Bill O'Herlihy, who sadly passed away almost one year ago.
Omin has created the mural honouring a 90s era Bill in the bar's beer garden, to coincide with its Italia 90 Day this Sunday.
The event will be a "celebration of all things Italia '90". We're being told to expect match footage and highlights, penalty shootouts, Italia 90 Guess Who, music of the era, an Italia 90 quiz, jerseys & memorabilia and loads more.
