There's Now A Pet Version Of The Rose Of Tralee
The Rose Of Tralee 2018 kicks off this day next week. While the competition might not be everyone's cup of tea, there's another paws-itivly adorable event taking place this month...
It's emerged that a pet competition inspired by the festival is also underway.
Pet Sitters Ireland has organised the Nose Of Tralee. The annual event and sees 32 furry, four-legged finalists from each county in Ireland battle it out to be crowned the winner.
The competition is open to all types of pets. This year's contestants include dogs, cats, and a budgie.
The winning animal will take home a €200 Pet Sitting and Dog Walking Voucher, one month's supply of pet food, and will take part in a photo shoot with David MaCauley Photography.
Their owner also gets a painting of their pooch or kitty by Irish artist Gill O'Shea (Dabble In Art).
Sounds pawesome!
