Rob Kearney Ready For Leinster Return
Leinster expect Rob Kearney to be fit for the trip to Scotstoun to face Glasgow Warriors in the Guinness Pro 12 this weekend.
The Ireland back was named in the side to face Ulster last week but the recurrence of a recent hamstring injury meant he was a late withdrawal from the team.
Leinster managed to win that game, edging it 8-3 at the RDS. Girvan Dempsey has been updating 98FM’s Darren Cleary on Kearney’s injury.
The backs coach is positive, he believes Rob Kearney will be fit in time to face Glasgow:
Noel Reid came on as a 66th minute replacement for Johnny Sexton in the game against Ulster, but just 6 minutes later left the game with an ankle injury. He's ruled out of this week's match.
Sexton is in line to return as his withdrawal was just a precaution after taking a bang to the lower back. Leinster will have to plan without Luke McGrath, he will miss the game after straining knee ligaments.
