Gardaí Investigating Whether Fatal Leixlip Shooting Linked To Hutch-Kinahan Feud
Around 30 gardaí are investigating if the murder of a man in Leixlip in Co Kildare is related to the Kinahan Hutch feud.
50-year-old Clive Staunton was shot dead outside his home in Glen Easton Way at around 9.15pm.
Mr Staunton was a street trader who had just returned from the football match at the Aviva.
He is believed to have been a distant relative of the Hutch family, and gardaí are investigating if his killing is linked to the ongoing Kinahan-Hutch feud.

Superintendent Gerry Wall explained: "I have some 30 detectives and uniformed members who worked throughout the night last night.
"[A potential feud link] is one element of the inquiry - just one element of the inquiry.
"This man is a street trader - he's not involved in criminality that we know of."
The killer, or killers, may have escaped in a Volvo S40 car, which was later found in Co. Wicklow.
Gardaí are now asking anyone who saw Clive Staunton or his van - a white Mercedes sprinter 96-D-22788 which has a distinctive red stripe on both sides - between Bath Avenue, Dublin 4 and Leixlip last night to contact Leixlip Garda Station on 01-6667800 or any Garda station.
They are also seeking information on the movement of a silver Volvo S40 between Leixlip and Manor Kilbride.
