Gardai Aware Of Speculation About Retaliation Attack After Yesterday's Shooting
Gardaí say they're aware of speculation about a retaliation attack after a 32 year old was shot in a Dublin hotel yesterday.
32-year-old David Byrne from Crumlin died when a gang - armed with automatic weapons - stormed the Regency Hotel in Drumcondra during a weigh-in for a boxing match.
Investigating officers say they believe at least 6 people were involved in the attack - two other men also received gunshot wounds in the incident.
Detectives are appealing for information about a silver Ford Transit van - which they say was later found burnt out in the Charlemont Estate in Marino.
