Body Found in Bathroom of Dublin Airport
A man in his 70s has been found dead in Dublin Airport.
The man's body was discovered in Terminal 1 at around 10:20 this morning, and Gardaí say they're investigating the sudden death.
The man’s body was discovered by cleaning staff.
It's thought the man may have suffered a heart attack and his death is not being treated as suspicious.
A spokesperson for the DAA says that 26 lives have been saved due to the defibrillator programme in the airport, which makes this incident even sadder.
Officers are now attempting to notify the man’s next-of-kin.
