The new year is all about embracing a new you, so it's the perfect time to get in shape.
We’ve teamed up with Steve Doody from Fit Studios in Fairview to bring you your very own weekly FITNESS FIX.
Throughout the month, we’ll be posting gym routines that you can either do in the gym or at home. They should accommodate beginners all the way to the more advanced.
Here's details on Week 1:
1. Ground ups x15
2. Squats/Goblet Squat x 10
3. Elbow Get ups x 10
Do each exercise 10 times
Go from 1 - 3 only taking max 15 seconds between each exercise. If you really need to it's okay to take longer, but try keep it intense. Rest 60 seconds at the end of each round.
Take away 1 rep per exercise per round for 10 rounds.
Difficulty Levels: This is not an easy training session, if you want to make it a little easier based on your current level of strenght and firness, simply take away 5 reps from each exercise and use the same system but doing 5 rounds in the same fashion taking away 1 rep at a time until all the rounds are done.
