What A Shot! Jordan Spieth's Wonder Shot Ensures Victory
Jordan Spieth produced a stunning bunker shot last night to finish off a wire-to-wire victory in the Travelers Championship.
He needed an extra hole to claim the silverware, but his winning effort in the playoff was something to behold.
The two-time major champion holed out from 60 feet for birdie from a greenside bunker on the first hole of a playoff with Daniel Berger on Sunday at TPC River Highlands.
At only 23 years of age, the Texan has joined Tiger Woods in an elite club. Spieth and Woods are the only PGA Tour players with 10 victories in the era since World War II. Woods won 15 times before he turned 24.
"That was one for the ages," said Spieth, also the winner at Pebble Beach in February.
The 2015 Masters champion wowed crowds in Connecticut and around the world with his bunker shot that will go down in history as one of the greatest title-clinching shots.
