Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini has had his say on the rumours linking Lionel Messi to the club.
He's rubbished reports that City are about to break the bank and offer the Barcelona man over €1.3 million a week to move to Manchester.
Here’s what the City boss had to say when asked about the rumours linking the club with the World’s best player:
Spanish radio station COPE claimed Pellegrini would not be the man at the helm if the Argentina superstar did make the switch to the Etihad Stadium.
They claim that ex-Barcelona coach Guardiola would leave Bayern Munich at the end of his contract in Germany, he fuelled speculation by missing a scheduled press conference today.
