Diarmuid Connolly's 12-Week Ban Upheld
Dublin star Diarmuid Connolly's 12-week suspension has been upheld by the GAA’s Central Hearings Committee overnight.
Connolly received the ban from the Central Competitions Control Committee for "minor physical interference with an official" in Dublin’s Leinster quarter-final win over Carlow earlier this month.
The Central Hearings Committee heard the case last night, but the suspension has been upheld.
It means the St Vincent’s man will miss the rest of Dublin’s Leinster Championship campaign, as well as any potential All-Ireland quarter final.
However, he can appeal further to the Central Appeals Committee.
