Witness Appeal Following Harold's Cross Sex Attack
Gardai are appealing for a couple who witnessed a sexual assault in Dublin at the weekend to contact them.
A woman was forced against a car during the ordeal which was interrupted by passersby.
Detectives based at Sundrive Road say she was walking with a man from the city centre through Harold's Cross on Mount Argus Road between 5 and 5.30am.
He's described as being approximately 6 feet tall, with broad shoulders, black hair and a beard
Gardai say at some point the Spanish-speaking man forced the woman against a car and sexually assaulted her.
He stopped when a couple approched and spoke to him, and the victim walked away.
Detectives are appealing to anyone who saw a man and woman standing near a parked car near Laurence Court to get in touch with them.
They're particularly keen for the couple who interrupted the attack to contact Gardai
