New Chauffeur Booking App Arrives In Dublin

Devine's Worldwide Chauffeur Services has been on the go for 40 years, and has driven some the world's biggest entertainers like the Rolling Stones, Michael Jackson, Lady Gaga and Beyoncé. They were also selected as the company to serve the Queen of England on her visit to Ireland in 2011.
Today, the Irish limousine company officially opened new offices in Santry, where it will run its new app from which lets you book a chauffeur driven car. 35 new staff are being hired to support their focus on customer service.
The Tánaiste, Frances Fitzgerald, said "Reliability and quality of service is what the consumer is looking for and with this new app they are moving into digital age. Enterprises like these that are the backbone of the country".
The company started off with one man with a car in 1978 and now boast a fleet of over 40 cars and a staff of 60.
The app is the first of its kind in Europe and is for those looking for a "premium passenger experience", and the company is keen to point out that all its drivers undergo background checks and are trained in safety.
When asked for a snippet of the stories of the rich and famous, Colin Devine, CEO of Devine's was tight-lipped.
"We treat stars like they are ordinary people and ordinary people like they are stars", he quipped.
