Two Dublin Hospitals Among Targets Of Recent Cyber Attacks
Two Dublin hospitals are believed to have been targets of the recent cyber attacks.
The Irish Independent report that Crumlin Children's Hospital and the Rotunda Maternity Hospital were among facilities where hackers tried to infect the computer systems with the WannaCry ransomware.
However, the virus has not infected any device in those hospitals. The HSE's external IT networks will remain offline today as a precaution.
Communications Minister Denis Naughten will brief The Cabinet on the situation later today.
