Northside Park To Be Excavated For Rapist's Remains
Gardai may have had a breakthrough in the case of an arm that washed up on a Dublin beach five years ago.
Detectives are to dig up a northside park to search for the remains of a convicted rapist from Finglas.
It's understood new information has come to light about the death of James Nolan who's severed arm was discovered on Dollymount strand in 2011.
It's reported a man, who has since taken his own life, admitted in a suicide letter to killing the convicted rapist and burglar.
The Herald reports he was a close associate of the 46 year old career criminal, who was strangled in Glasnevin Cemtary before his body was dismembered.
A dig is set to place in a bid to find body parts possibly buried in a northside park, while detectives in County Monaghan are also to resume searches.
