Union 'Hopeful' Of Pay-Rise For Dublin Bus Drivers
Unions representing Dublin Bus drivers say they’re hopeful of a pay increase to bring their members’ pay in line with that of Luas drivers.
Tram drivers recently secured a pay increase of around 18 percent – meaning they’ll be paid almost one third more than bus drivers in the capital.
Unions met with management at the Labour Court this afternoon, seeking a 30 percent increase for their members.
Both sides have been asked to return next week.
