No Teacher Strike Before The Summer
Secondary teachers say it’s unlikely they’ll strike again this academic year, over junior cert reforms.
But the ASTI says the disagreement over changes to the exam, will continue into next year.
Its General Secretary is Pat King.
"We're going to do and we have done everything possible to avoid any upset or distress for students or their parents. It is most unlikely that there will be a strike action this side of the summer. But I must make it clear, we retain the mandate to take strike action."
