Trump's Press Secretary Sean Spicer Resigns
White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer has resigned, according to US media.
It comes after the appointment of financier Anthony Scaramucci as the Trump administration's new communications director.
According to the New York Times, Spicer is said to have told President Trump he "vehemently disagreed" with the new appointment.
From his first day on the job, Spicer has become known for his testy exchanges with journalists in the White House press room.
For many, however, his time in office will be best remembered for Melissa McCarthy's impression on Saturday Night Live.
