Johnny Sexton Named In Lions XV- But Peter O'Mahony Dropped
Johnny Sexton is IN.
But Peter O’Mahony is OUT.
Warren Gatland has named his Lions team for Saturday's second test against the All Blacks- and Sexton has been given the nod at out half.
He will form a 10/12 partnership with Owen Farrell, so Ben Te'o drops to the bench.
Peter O'Mahony has been left out of the squad altogether, having captained the team in the first test.
Sam Warburton starts instead, with CJ Stander named among the replacements.
The other change from last week’s first test defeat is Maro Itoje starting, in place of George Kruis.
Tadhg Furlong, Sean O'Brien and Conor Murray all keep their places in the team.
It’s a must-win game for the Lions if they’re to keep alive their hopes of winning the tour.
