The 2017/18 Premier League Fixtures Are Out
Chelsea will begin their Premier League title defence at home to Burnley.
The new season fixtures have been announced this morning.
It’s a tough start for the newly-promoted sides, with Newcastle opening their campaign against Tottenham at St James' Park.
Brighton's first top flight game in 34 years is against Manchester City, while Huddersfield are away to Crystal Palace for their first top division match since 1972.
Elsewhere on the opening weekend, which kicks off on August 12th, Arsenal host Leicester City, Manchester United face West Ham at Old Trafford and Liverpool make the trip to Vicarage Road to face Watford.
The top two from last season will meet in just the second round of games, as Spurs host champions Chelsea. That will be Spurs’ first home league game at Wembley, with White Hart Lane being redeveloped.
The first North London derby of the season is at the Emirates on 18th November, as Arsenal host Spurs.
The first Manchester derby takes place on 9th December at Old Trafford, which is the same weekend as the first Merseyside derby of the season at Anfield.
Liverpool also meet Manchester United at Anfield on 14th October.
