Chelsea And Spurs Dominate PFA Team Of The Year
Chelsea and Spurs dominate the PFA’s Premier League Team of the Year, which has been announced this morning.
The current top two take up eight of the 11 places in the team.
Chelsea have four representatives.
Player of the Year nominees N'Golo Kante and Eden Hazard are joined by defenders David Luiz and Gary Cahill.
Tottenham also have four, with Harry Kane, who is Spurs’ sole nominee for Player of the Year, joined by Kyle Walker, Danny Rose and Dele Alli.
Manchester United, Liverpool and Everton all have one representative.
David de Gea is the goalkeeper, with Sadio Mane in midfield and Romelu Lukaku up front.
There is no place in the team for Arsenal’s Alexis Sanchez and Manchester United’s Zlatan Ibrahimovic, both of whom were shortlisted for the Player of the Year award.
