“The Jersey That Always Fitted Best Was The Green One"- Robbie Keane
It’s a massive week for Irish football.
The Boys in Green take on Wales in a crucial World Cup qualifier on Friday- a game which could be pivotal in deciding if Ireland will get to Russia 2018.
Ahead of the game, Ireland legend Robbie Keane has been reflecting on his sterling career.
Keano, who was launching Three’s new #TheCallUp campaign, retired last year, with 68 goals and 146 caps to his name.
He was added to the FAI Hall of Fame last Sunday.
The former skipper opens up about his time in Green, reminiscing on his first Ireland call up and recalling the “tough moment” of putting on the green jersey for the last time.
