Johnny Sexton 'Gutted But Proud' After Clermont Defeat
"The first fifteen", Johnny Sexton replied with a rueful smile when asked by 98FM Sport's Stephen Doyle what went he felt went wrong at the end of the 80 minutes in Leinster's European Champions Cup semi-final defeat.
Clermont Auvergne ran riot in the opening stages and had run up a 15 point lead inside the opening fifteen minutes, a sucker punch that the Blues never really recovered from.
The Leinster outhalf takes defeat badly but despite feeling "gutted" after they were knocked out of the competition, he also spoke of his pride in the way the team performed.
