Two Irish Players Shortlisted For Six Nations Player Of The Tournament
Two Irish players have been nominated for the 2017 RBS Six Nations Player of the Championship.
Ireland ended a mixed campaign in style, beating Champions England on Saturday at the Aviva Stadium.
The win confirmed Ireland’s second place finish, ending 5 points behind winners England.
Several players impressed for Ireland during the campaign, with Conor Murray and CJ Stander standing out.
And the pair are the two Irishmen on the 12-man shortlist for Player of the Tournament.
England have three nominations, France, Scotland and Wales have two, with Italy having one.
