Scots Decide Their Nations Fate
The polls are open in the Scottish Independence Referendum.
Over four million Scots will be balloted between now and 10 o'clock tonight, with an unprecedented 80 percent turnout predicted.
Its the biggest political decision their nation will ever make.
As of last night the polls suggest there’s little to separate the Yes and No camps.
A 4 per cent gap would mean just 65 thousand people could swing the course of the Referendum.
So both sides will be looking to get their supporters out in force early on and hoping to win over many of the 1 in 7 Scots who say they’re still undecided whether going it alone is worth the economic risk.
Two years of campaigning and 307 years of the United Kingdom could all come down to this - the question on the ballot paper - Yes or No - Should Scotland be An Independent Country?.
We should have an answer within the next 24 hours.
