Children Killed On Irish Roads Doubles
The number of children killed on Irish roads has more than doubled this year according to the Road Safety Authority.
In 2013, six children lost their lives but so far this year 13 have been killed in road accidents.
As schools re-open after the holidays, the RSA is urging parents to make sure their children are safe on the road.
It's distributing more than 85 thousand hi-vis vests to school children this year.
