Chihuahua 'Arrested' in Co. Armagh
PSNI officers have 'arrested' a cranky chihuahua after discovering him wandering the streets alone.
Officers on patrol in Lurgan on Tuesday say he tried to bite their fingers.
He was later picked up for 'jay-walking, disorderly conduct and assault.'
They nicknamed him Nigel because he "looked like a Nigel" apparently! (Farage perhaps?)
In a Facebook post, the officers appealed for the owners to come forward.
"He's got serious anger issues... By the way, in this photo (top) he's in the driver's seat. MY seat. He chased me out of my own police car!! Angry wee so and so."
It turns out Nigel's real name is Simba and he has been reunited with his owners.
The officers joked on Facebook "Simba. Hmmm. He certainly wasn't feeling the love tonight. Thanks for all the Facebook shares to spread the word and get him home."
In the meantime the story has gone global. "Nigel's" made the BBC, Mashable and a radio station in Texas.
