TDs Approve Government Aer Lingus Shares Sale
TDs have backed the government's plan to sell its shares in Aer Lingus.
IAG, which owns British Airways, wants to buy the entire company for €1.4BN.
TDs voted 74 to 51 in favour of the sale of the government's share.
One Labour TD from County Clare was the only government TD to vote against it, and is expelled from the parliamentary party as a result.
