Printing Firm Refuses To Make Gay Wedding Invites
A printing company in Co. Louth has refused to serve a couple who ordered invitations to their civil partnership ceremony.
Beulah Print & Design in Drogheda told the couple they would not do business with them because they do not support gay marriage.
They're due to get married in August.
One half of the couple, Jonathan Brennan, said the owner of the company explained to him in person why they wouldn't print the invitations:
In a statement, Beulah Print & Design says they are Bible-believing Christians who are committed to standing by their conscience and God’s Word.
They say they are not against homosexuals but do not support same sex marriage, and feel printing wedding invitations would go against their beliefs.
