Ireland To Experience Mini Indian Summer Tomorrow
Don't pack away your summer wardrobe just yet. Met Eireann has announced there will be highs of 22 degrees across the country tomorrow, which is extremely unusual for late September.
According to the forecaster, "Wednesday will be cloudy to start, becoming warm later where sunny spells develop. In the evening rain will spread from the west. Southwest winds will increase fresh to strong with the rain."
It's understood the warm conditions for this time of year are being caused by tropical air moving up from the Azores.
The weather will turn cool again on Thursday, with gusty westerly winds bringing showers to all areas. Temperatures will range between 13 and 16 degrees.
Friday will be a drier day with a few showers around.
There will be a mix of sunshine and showers over the weekend, with wet and windy weather forecast for Sunday. Temperatures will be between 10 and 15 degrees, which is a bit below normal for early October.
