A video of a plane landing at Dublin Airport during Storm Ophelia this afternoon has emerged online.
Twitter user Sean Hassett uploaded the dramatic footage of Aer Lingus flight EI 491. His parents were on board the plane which was travelling from Faro to the capital.
The pilot and Air Traffic Control are being praised on Twitter for safely landing the plane during the severe weather conditions.
People are being urged to stay indoors as the country experiences what is described as the most severe weather event we've had in over fifty years.
