This Week Set To Be Sunniest & Hottest So Far In 2016
This week's weather forecast is looking good. According to Met Eireann, the next few days will be the hottest and sunniest so far in Ireland this year.
Forecasters say the good weather should continue all week and into the Bank Holiday, with temperatures set to hit 22 degrees in parts.
Met Eireann's David Rodgers said there will be "a little bit of an interruption in the middle of the week with Eastern areas becoming cloudier with a little bit of drizzle for a while in places".
"There will be a return later in the week to generally dry condition with more sunshine too", he added.

Tomorrow
Sunny throughout the day. Most areas will stay dry with highs of 22 degrees.
Wednesday
Warm with spells of hazy sunshine. Dry with moderate northeast breezes, with highest temperatures ranging from 19 to 22 degrees Celsius.
Thursday
A duller day with a chance of rain/drizzle. Highest temperatures will range 14 to 20 degrees Celsius.
Friday
Warm and bright with highest temperatures of 16 to 22 degrees Celsius. Good sunny spells are expected. Chance of the odd burst of showery rain.
Weekend
Current indications suggest the warm spell will persist into next weekend, the odd burst of showery rain is possible.
