Special Olympics Ireland Games On Across The City
Around sixteen hundred athletes from across the country are competing in the Special Olympics Ireland Games across the city this weekend.
The athletes were welcomed to the city with an opening ceremony in Tallaght Stadium on Thursday night which featured an Air Corps flyover and a performance by country singer Jake Carter.
The games are a chance for the athletes to show off their skills and hopefully be chosen for the World Games next year in Abu Dhabi.
