Snow-Ice Warning Issued For Ireland
Met Eireann has issued a Snow-Ice Warning for Ireland. The yellow alert comes will be in place tomorrow from 4pm tomorrow until 4pm on Friday.
The forecaster says up to 3cm of snow is expected in parts:
"Scattered snow showers will occur later Thursday, Thursday night and into Friday. Slight to moderate accumulations are possible with up to 3cm in parts. Icy stretches too. North and northwest counties will be most at risk, as well as higher ground elsewhere."
Tomorrow will be a bright day in Dublin with some scattered showers. It will turn progressively colder as the day progresses, in a strong west to northwest wind and some of the showers will turn wintry later in the day.
There'll be highs of only 5 or 6 Celsius. Temperatures will fall considerably on Thursday evening.
