Words Like 'ISIS' Scratched Into Cars Parked In Castleknock Estate
Almost every car in an Estate in Castleknock have been damaged after words like God and ISIS were scratched into them. Gardai are hoping CCTV or dash-cam footage will help them catch those responsible.
Words were scratched into vehicles parked in the Castleknock Park area between 11pm last night and 7am this morning.
Gardai at Blanchardstown are looking for anyone with CCTV or dash cams, to contact them. The cars included Mercedes and BMW's.
Local resident Daniel O'Donnell said hundreds of euro worth of damage has been done to his car "I had the car up the shops and all today and I hadn't copped".
"It's on the front and on the back so I didn't see it on the driver's side, but it's shocking. It has to be at least twelve of fifteen hundred euro's worth of damage I'd say".
