Padraig Harrington Secures First European Win In 8 Years
Padraig Harrington has ended his long drought in the European Tour.
The Dubliner was crowned the champion of the Portugal Masters with a score of 23 under par, just one shot ahead of the defending Champion Andy Sullivan.
Harrington hasn't won a competition on the European Tour since 2008, but this weekend's excellent performance has put an end to that losing streak.
A par on the last hole and a birdie on the 17th sealed the deal for the Irishman just after 5pm this afternoon. Have a look at his winning shot in the video below:
