Met Eireann Issues Weather Warning For Dublin
A day of heavy rain is forecast for Dublin and other parts of Ireland tomorrow. Met Eireann has issued a yellow rain warning for Dublin, Wicklow, Kildare, Meath, Wexford, Kilkenny, Carlow, Louth and Munster.
The alert is in place from midnight tonight until 23.59 on Thursday. The forecaster says: "Heavy rain is expected with accumulations between 30 and 50 mm possible".
Tonight will be mainly dry in Dublin with some light rain. However, heavy rain is set to develop towards dawn, with lows of 10-12 degrees.
Met Eireann added that there could be some spot flooding in the capital tomorrow:
"Thursday will be a wet day with heavy rain at times giving spot flooding.
Top temperatures 12 to 14 C. Winds will be moderate to fresh inland, but it will be windy along the coast with strong and gusty south to southeast winds."
