Keith Earls NOT Ruled Out - Fergus McFadden Called Up
Ireland head coach Joe Schmidt has not ruled Keith Earls out of the Six Nations clash with France in Paris this Saturday.
Schmidt wasn't feeling optimistic in the post-match press conference after the winger took a knock to the head against Wales.
"I think Keith has probably suffered a concussion. He will be considered to have had a concussive impact and that will certainly put him in doubt for next weekend."
However the word from the Ireland camp today is that Earls passed his first Head Injury Assessment while Tommy O'Donnell trained fully today after clearing his HIA.
Schmidt isn't taking any chances and today called Leinster winger Fergus McFadden into the squad as cover for Earls.

Flanker Sean O'Brien took part in today's light work-out while Rob Kearney was restricted but is hoping to train fully on Thursday.
So should Johnny Sexton, Andrew Trimble and Simon Zebo who all sat-out today.
Prop duo Mike Ross and Cian Healy remained with Leinster in order to get some game time in the Pro12 this weekend.
Meanwhile, the Leinster versus Munster Guinness PRO12 derby clash at the Aviva Stadium has been confirmed for Saturday April 2nd at 17:30.
