Dublin Fire Brigade Warn Of Dangers In The Lead-Up To Halloween
Dublin Fire Brigade is urging business to keep note of their waste in the lead up to Halloween.
The emergency services are warning that despite it only being September youths are already preparing for major bonfires.
Sinn Fein Councilor Greg Kelly proposed a motion this week for the City Council to implement the Halloween strategy earlier.
Councillor Kelly says the anti-social behaviour can have serious impacts on the community:
"What I've found this year is that the hoarding of pallets and tyres and the burnings have started early.
"I've asked Dublin City Council to implement their plan at least four weeks earlier normally we wouldn't implement it till October."
