If you've been to a wedding in the last year you'll have noticed one of the latest trends - a disposable camera sitting in the middle of each table for guests to get snap happy with.
Well now a survey by Canon has confirmed that half of brides had them in situ at their reception, with almost two in ten opting for a photo booth.
According to the study, 95% of brides still print photos from their big day and almost the same number of family and friends say they've had a flick through the album.
Despite being a nation of avid instagrammers, almost all brides-to-be surveyed by Canon plan to have a professional photographer on their big day.
A quarter consider photography such a crucial element that they even plan how their table settings and favours will look in pictures.
Audrey Frost, Marketing at Canon Ireland, said "Nothing quite compares to the feeling of looking through photos in a high-quality book or album years down the line, and as arguably the biggest day in any couple’s life, it’s important to be able to relive these special memories long in to the future."
She continued “Our survey shows that couples love to gather as much from their special day as possible, asking their friends to capture photos from the day, and investing in professional photographer to snap the key moments", she said.
