Calling all cheese lovers - Aldi has announced that it will be launching halloumi fries in Ireland!
A bag of the delicious frozen fries will cost €2.99.
Aldi's Specially Selected Haloumi Fries are made "with scrumptiously soft - and slightly salty - halloumi cheese from Cyprus and a lightly seasoned crispy coating making them the perfect side or snack for sharing".
Halloumi fans were sent into a frenzy after it was confirmed the supermarket giant has launched their own version of the fried cheese staple.
We reached out to Aldi Ireland on Twitter who confirmed they will be hitting Irish stores:
"We can confirm that as far as we are aware our Specially Selected halloumi fries will be on sale in all stores in Ireland. These will be priced at €2.99."
An exact launch date has yet to be announced, but Aldi says they should hit supermarkets across the country from May 18th.
