30KM/H Speed Limit To Apply To More Dublin Suburbs
Lower speed limits are to be rolled out to more roads across Dublin.
The City Council's Transport Committee is looking at extending the 30 kilometre an hour limit to extra suburbs.
The limits are already in place in most of the inner city, but will soon include Cabra, East Wall, Harold's Cross, Artane and Killester.
Green Party Councillor Ciaran Cuffe has welcomed the move, saying "it's really spreading into more neighbourhoods in the city".
He hopes that will mean "a reduction in the speed of vehicles and improved safety for all road users".
